At Farr Avenue School, Falcon's S.O.A.R...
Remember we have been talking about The Season of NonViolence, and focusing on respect, so try to respect yourself and others by choosing not to use any profanity or “put downs.”
This week we also talk about Respect in the classroom, the restrooms, and at recess. Remember that respect is the way you choose to treat others and in the classroom we need to try to raise our hands before we speak, wait patiently for others, encourage others, participate appropriately, and resolve issues peacefully.
Bryant H. McGill, American author, wrote, "One of the most sincere forms of respect is actually listening to what another has to say."
And today, we have Mrs. Bribiesca to lead you in the pledge. Now, please stand...Put your right hand over your heart, ready begin...
I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
Remember to make sure to come to school everyday and on time and maybe you can win a prize in our attendance raffle.
And speaking of attendance, I want to give a shout out to Ms. Sandoval's class for having 100% attendance last week.
Finally, please stay out of planted and landscaped areas around school. We want all of our plants to grow.
Remember, Safety First!
Thank you for your attention to this morning's message, S.O.A.R. today, and remember to come to school every day and on time because when you miss school you miss out.
