Announcements:

Today is...

Sorry Charlie Day - a day to recognize that everyone gets rejected sometimes in his or her life. The name of the holiday comes from the phrase Sorry Charlie, popular in the United States.

At Farr Avenue School, Falcon's S.O.A.R...

As we continue to review what good Falcons do we need to think about what it means to be responsible. Responsibility means that we are ready for school, we listen to our teachers, and we try our best to get the job done. When we do these things we feel good about school and ourselves.

Jim Morrison, an American singer, songwriter, and poet, best remembered as the lead singer of the Doors, said, "A friend is someone who gives you total freedom to be yourself."

Pledge:

And today, we have Areanna Balderas from Mrs. Johnson's class to lead you in the pledge.  Now, please stand...Put your right hand over your heart, ready begin...

I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

Special Announcements

Remember, this Friday night from 4-9 pm at Panda Express on Mission and Quince Farr's PTA will be having a fundraiser and if you mention Farr School we'll get a percentage of the money you spend and this will go toward special events and fun opportunities for you, so make your way over to Panda Express Friday night for dinner.

And...remember to please stay out of planted and landscaped areas around school because we want our plants to grow!

Also remember to always stay safe on the playground, around our school, and on your way to and from school.

Thank you for your attention to this morning's message, S.O.A.R. today, and remember to come to school every day and on time because when you miss school you miss out.
