Remember that acting responsibly in all areas of school and in our community shows that we care. Please discuss how you can be responsible at school and in your community with your teachers.

Henry David Thoreau, American essayist, poet, and philosopher, said, "The language of friendship is not words but meanings."

And today, we have Jocelyn Infante from Ms. Tyler's class to lead you in the pledge.  Now, please stand...Put your right hand over your heart, ready begin...

I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

Special Announcements

The Farr Avenue Yearbook is on sale and if you want your very own copy make sure to make your way over to room 12 with $17.06 before the deadline of May 5th, so that you can order your book from Mrs. Wood.  If getting your money to school is difficult, a flyer will go home with information on how to buy them online.

Also please make sure that while you are in the office or library you are quiet and respectful of the 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders who will be taking important state exams.

Next, remember to please stay out of planted and landscaped areas around school because we want our plants to grow!

Finally, remember to always stay safe on the playground, around our school, on your way to and from school.
Thank you for your attention to this morning's message, S.O.A.R. today, and remember to come to school every day and on time because when you miss school you miss out.
