Today is...

April 3 is World Party Day. Also known as P Day, it is an annually celebrated unofficial holiday that aims to achieve social change and harmony by encouraging people to celebrate life by partying.

On This Day in History:

in 1860, the first Pony Express mail, traveling by horse and rider relay teams, simultaneously leaves St. Joseph, Missouri, and Sacramento, California.

Here's Your Science Fact for Today:

At Farr Avenue School, Falcon's S.O.A.R...

Welcome back everyone and as we move into the last part of the school year we need to review what Farr Falcons do. Remember we S - Stay safe, O - Own our school, A - Act responsibly, and R - Respect everyone; and when we do these things we feel good about our school and ourselves.

Maya Angelou, an American poet, singer, memoirist, and civil rights activist, wrote, "If you don't like something, change it. If you can't change it, change your attitude."
Pledge:

And today we have... from Mr. Hernandez's class to lead you in the pledge. Now, please stand...Put your right hand over your heart, ready begin...

I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

Special Announcements

Remember that when traveling through campus you are to stay on all paved areas and off of our grass and landscaped areas because we want all of our plants to grow.

Also remember to be respectful to all of our third, fourth, and fifth graders who will start their state tests this week by being quiet while in the office and libraries; and always remember to stay safe, own our school, act responsibly, and respect everyone where ever you go!

Thank you very much for your attention to this morning's message, S.O.A.R. today, and remember to come to school every day and on time because when you miss school you miss out.
