This week for the Season of Nonviolence we are focusing on Way of the Week, week 5 – Smiling
Mother Teresa said, “Peace begins with a smile.” As you begin your work to create a more peaceful community, think about the difference your smile can make. A smile doesn’t cost anything but can mean everything to someone who is having a tough time. It is an easy way to spread happiness and peaceful feelings to everyone you meet. Your Daily Challenge: Today, share a smile with at least three people knowing that your smile contributes to peace.

And, don't forget this Friday is Make people smile day so wearing your hair in a crazy or funny style. I hope to smile a lot on Friday!

Special Announcements

This Thursday night from 6:30-8:00 the wonderful Cal State San Marcos students will have their amazing science night which will feature cool experiments, fun exhibits, and raffles.  It's one of the most fun events of the year so don't miss out!

Also remember that when travelling through campus you are to stay on all paved areas and off of our grass and landscaped areas because we want all of our plants to grow.

And always remember to stay safe, own our school, act responsibly, and respect everyone where ever you go!
