Spring Break will begin April 10th and run through April 21st, so have a wonderful time with your family and friends and we'll see you back at school ready to take on the remainder of the school year on Monday, April 24th at 8:00. Have a great break!
On February 20th and 21st we will be observing Abraham Lincoln and George Washington, two of our countries most notable presidents. On these days the district offices and schools will be closed. Have a wonderful holiday, and we'll see you bright and early Wednesday, February 22nd.
January 16th will be a holiday to honor of Martin Luther King Jr., and there will be no school. Enjoy the holiday with family and friends, and we will see you bright and early Tuesday, January 17th.
Remember parents that students will return to classes, Tuesday, January 10th, 2017 at 8:00am. We'll see you in the New Year!
Winter break begins the 23rd of December and goes through to the 10th of January, so enjoy family and friends over the break, be safe, and we'll see you bright and early on the 11th of January.
Come celebrate the season with your family and friends at Farr Avenue School's "Santa Night" on Friday, December 16th from 5:00-8:00. This special night will feature food, student entertainment, and a visit from Santa and his friends. We hope to see you here!
Thanksgiving Break begins November 21st and goes through the 25th of November. Have a relaxing and joyous holiday with family and friends and we'll see you back here bright and early on Monday, November 28th.
During the first part of November give what you can to our PTA Canned Food Drive. This drive helps our families in need during the holiday season, so if you can, please give; and thank you very much for your contribution.
On November 18th, report cards will be going home with your son or daughter. This is a good time to see how well your son or daughter is doing and to encourage him or her to continue pushing toward their goals.
Parent/Teacher conferences will take place on Thursday & Friday October 20th and 21st of next week. Parent/Teacher conferences are a great time to sit down with your son or daughter's teacher to speak to them about how your student is doing and what you can do to support your son or daughter, so make space on your calendar and we can't wait to see you.
